Adclear Raises €2.4M Seed to Expand AI-Powered Compliance Platform for Financial Marketing

Adclear, the London‑based artificial intelligence RegTech startup focused on automating compliance for financial marketing and regulatory content, has successfully closed a €2.4 million (approximately £2.1 million / $2.75 million) oversubscribed seed round as it scales its platform and expands its market reach beyond the UK. The financing, completed in November 2025, underscores strong investor confidence in Adclear’s innovative AI‑driven approach to helping banks, fintechs, and trading platforms streamline their compliance workflows while accelerating marketing velocity.

Founded in 2024 by Doni Hoti, Joe Jordan, and Cameron Ward, Adclear provides a platform that allows finance companies to automate regulatory compliance checks for marketing content and product updates, covering everything from social media posts and advertisements to website pages and product screens. By reducing the traditionally manual, slow, and resource‑intensive compliance review process, Adclear enables marketing and compliance teams to move at the pace of modern digital communications without increasing regulatory risk.

The seed funding round was led by  Outward VC, a venture capital firm that focuses on early‑stage founders building solutions at the intersection of financial services and societal impact. Joining Outward VC were several prominent investors, including AFG Partners, Tenity, and returning backers such as Haatch and Force Over Mass Capital. The round also featured support from notable angel investors like Dan Cobley, founder of ClearScore, and Keith Grose, who invested through the a16z Scout Fund and the Ventures Together community of industry‑focused angel investors.

Adclear’s leadership said the capital will be used to grow its team, expand its presence into new international markets, and accelerate product development. After establishing a foothold in the UK by helping organisations comply with regulatory frameworks such as those enforced by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), the company has already extended its capabilities to support compliance requirements in the European Union and the United States, with plans to launch services in APAC and MENA regions in the coming months.

The startup’s platform has gained early traction among major financial services brands and fintechs. Clients include leading institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group, PensionBee, Plum, Yonder, InvestEngine, ActivTrades, and Trade Nation, which use Adclear’s AI to ensure that promotional content complies with complex regulatory requirements while providing a comprehensive audit trail to satisfy internal and external audit standards.

Investors backing Adclear have highlighted the critical need for AI‑native solutions in highly regulated industries where manual compliance reviews can slow time‑to‑market for campaigns and expose teams to regulatory risk. By leveraging artificial intelligence to automate repetitive review tasks and deliver instant, contextual feedback, Adclear addresses a major operational bottleneck for regulated brands and enables them to scale more efficiently without sacrificing compliance.

Adclear’s recent funding round builds on its earlier success in January 2025, when the company raised an initial €603,000 pre‑seed round backed by Haatch, Force Over Mass Capital, and Founders Capital to accelerate product development and expand into EU and US markets. That pre‑seed funding helped lay the groundwork for the company’s rapid ARR growth, which increased nearly tenfold between the pre‑seed and seed stages, positioning Adclear as a rising player in the financial promotions (FinProm) compliance space.

The platform’s ability to quickly adapt to different regulatory environments and support diverse content types — from social posts and ads to product screens and email campaigns — has made it particularly valuable for fintechs and trading platforms operating across multiple markets. As these companies scale, they face increasing regulatory scrutiny and complexity, making comprehensive, automation‑driven compliance solutions more critical than ever.

Looking ahead, Adclear aims to continue broadening its product capabilities, including tools that support the full lifecycle of financial promotions compliance, such as post‑publication monitoring of affiliates, partners, and financial influencers (“finfluencers”), while building out its engineering and sales functions to support continued global expansion. The company’s seed funding milestone marks an important step toward its ambition of reshaping how regulated financial brands manage compliance in an increasingly fast‑paced digital marketing world.
