Aive Raises €12 Million Series A to Scale AI‑Powered Video Post‑Production Globally

Paris‑based AI video technology startup Aive has raised €12 million in a Series A funding round to expand its automated video post‑production platform and scale internationally. Founded in 2019 by tech veterans Olivier Reynaud and Rudy Lellouche, Aive’s platform uses advanced artificial intelligence to automate and optimise video editing workflows — transforming how brands and creative teams generate high‑performance video content from a single source.

The Series A round was led by global investment firm Invus, which specialises in backing high‑growth software companies with long‑term capital. Invus’ involvement underscores confidence in Aive’s technology and market potential, as video content continues to dominate digital consumption and demand for scalable post‑production solutions grows.

Aive’s platform is built around its proprietary Multimodal Generative Technology (MGT), which combines generative AI, analytical AI and multimodal analysis to automatically produce tailored video variants for different formats, platforms and audience objectives. Users can instantly transform a single original video into multiple versions adapted for social channels, advertising campaigns, localisation tasks and more, drastically reducing manual editing workloads and production costs.

Since its commercial launch in early 2024, the company has already attracted an impressive roster of more than 40 international clients, including major brands and agencies such as Stellantis, LVMH, Clarins, Groupe Seb, Meetic, Publicis, IPG, Datawords and Omnicom. These early adopters have leveraged Aive’s technology to streamline content workflows and accelerate creative output across diverse markets.

In announcing the Series A raise, Aive’s leadership emphasised that the funding will fuel international expansion, strengthen its technological capabilities and support the company’s plans to triple its workforce by the end of 2026. With demand for tailored video content rising sharply across industries — from luxury and automotive to FMCG and entertainment — Aive aims to establish itself as a global leader in automated post‑production.

Olivier Reynaud, CEO and co‑founder of Aive, said the company’s mission is to help brands produce videos “more effectively, more quickly, and with a level of security and personalisation to match their challenges.” He described the fresh funding as a crucial step toward accelerating the company’s development and realising its global ambitions.

Rudy Lellouche, co‑founder and Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), highlighted the value of Aive’s technology in delivering measurable performance gains for clients. According to internal data, customers using the platform have seen up to 2.5 times more conversions on targeted video content and average cost‑of‑acquisition reductions of 30 per cent, thanks to AI‑driven optimisation.

The company’s proprietary engine uses a genetic algorithm capable of generating tens of thousands of potential video variations from a single creative prompt. It then evaluates these options against predefined marketing objectives, selecting the best candidates for distribution or further refinement. This approach enables creative teams to test and deploy video content at a scale and speed that would be impossible through manual workflows.

Invus’ Managing Director, Benedetto Staccia, said that Aive combines performance, scalability and creative intelligence into a unified platform. Invus believes the company is well‑positioned to redefine global standards for video production automation and deliver significant value to enterprise clients seeking to boost engagement and brand impact across digital channels.

With over €1 million in annual recurring revenue already generated and 15 per cent of current revenues coming from the United States, Aive is entering a rapid growth phase. The company plans to use its Series A capital not only to expand its team and product capabilities but also to deepen its presence in key markets across Europe and North America.

Industry observers note that as video continues to account for a dominant share of digital media consumption, tools that automate creative production are becoming increasingly essential for brands and agencies alike. Aive’s blend of AI‑powered automation and performance optimisation positions it uniquely in this evolving landscape, where speed, efficiency and data‑driven creative insights are critical competitive differentiators.

The successful Series A funding round marks a milestone for Aive, sending a clear signal to the market that AI‑enabled video production solutions are attracting serious investment and that Aive is poised to play a leading role in shaping the future of creative automation.
