Epiminds, a Stockholm-based artificial intelligence startup, has publicly launched with a $6.6 million seed funding round, positioning itself as a new entrant in the fast-evolving marketing technology landscape. The funding supports the company’s ambition to build an operating system for marketing agencies powered by autonomous AI agents that can plan, analyze, and execute digital campaigns with minimal human input.

The seed round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, a global venture capital firm known for backing enterprise and consumer technology companies. The round also included participation from EWOR and Entourage, alongside a group of angel investors that includes the former chief marketing officer of Booking.com. The mix of U.S. and European investors reflects confidence in Epiminds’ potential to scale across international markets.

Epiminds was founded in 2025 by Elias Malm and Mo Elkhidir. Malm previously worked at Google, where he led agency partnerships across the Nordic region, while Elkhidir brings engineering and machine learning experience from roles at Spotify and digital health company Kry. The founders say the idea for Epiminds emerged from direct exposure to the operational challenges facing modern marketing agencies, including fragmented tools, manual reporting, and slow campaign iteration cycles.

At the center of Epiminds’ product is Lucy, an AI marketing manager designed to coordinate more than 20 specialized autonomous agents. These agents handle tasks such as campaign analysis, creative performance evaluation, budget pacing, bid optimization, and execution across advertising platforms. According to the company, agencies can onboard new clients in under a minute and deploy Lucy as a scalable AI team that manages campaigns end-to-end, allowing human marketers to focus more on strategy, creativity, and client relationships.

Since its early launch, Epiminds has reported rapid initial traction. Within twelve weeks, the company signed marketing agencies collectively managing more than 240 brands. These early users have adopted Lucy to streamline onboarding, reduce manual workload, and improve campaign efficiency. Epiminds positions its technology as a way to address increasing complexity in digital marketing, where agencies must manage large volumes of data across multiple platforms while delivering measurable results for clients.

The newly raised capital will be used to further develop Lucy’s capabilities, including deeper integrations with advertising and analytics platforms, more advanced autonomy for its AI agents, and expanded self-learning features. Epiminds also plans to grow its team and accelerate expansion beyond the Nordic region, targeting broader European and U.S. markets as demand for AI-driven marketing solutions continues to rise.

Investors backing the round see Epiminds’ multi-agent architecture as a departure from traditional marketing tools that focus on isolated optimizations. Instead, the company is aiming to offer unified orchestration across the entire campaign lifecycle, linking insights directly to execution. This approach aligns with a broader shift in enterprise software toward autonomous systems that reduce operational friction and improve scalability.

Epiminds’ funding comes at a time when marketing agencies face mounting pressure to deliver stronger performance with fewer resources. As advertising ecosystems grow more complex and data-driven, the company is betting that AI agents acting as a coordinated digital workforce can become a core part of how agencies operate. With seed funding secured and early customers already using its platform, Epiminds is positioning itself to play a significant role in the next generation of marketing technology.
