Gozney, the UK-based outdoor cooking company known for its premium pizza ovens and live-fire cooking equipment, has secured fresh capital in a recent funding campaign that signals its ambition for global expansion. The company, which sells ovens such as the Dome, Arc, and Roccbox, is currently raising funds through both private investment and crowd equity initiatives.

In mid-2025, Gozney launched a new crowdfunding equity round via Crowdcube, opening up investment opportunities to its community and a broader base of retail backers. The campaign attracted over 1,400 individual investors and closed at approximately £2.79 million in new capital, with prominent backing from figures such as Richard Harpin, founder of HomeServe, and Mike Krieger, co-founder of Instagram. Gozney’s crowdfunding effort forms a key part of a larger funding strategy.

Alongside crowdfunding, Gozney is executing a parallel private investment round led by strategic advisors and anchored by its incoming Board Chairman, Mario Marte, formerly CFO of Chewy, who will assume a guiding role in the company’s next growth stage. This private round is aimed at accelerating Gozney’s international footprint, scaling manufacturing, deepening research and development efforts, and expanding product verticals beyond pizza ovens.

This fresh influx of funding follows a prior investment by Growth Partner, an investment firm backed by HomeServe founder Richard Harpin. In mid-2024, Growth Partner took a minority stake in Gozney through a multimillion-pound investment aimed at fueling expansion, particularly in overseas markets and wholesale distribution channels. That deal came as Gozney was transitioning from a predominantly direct-to-consumer model toward a hybrid omni-channel approach, with increasing retail placements in the US, UK, Germany, and Australia.

Financially, Gozney has demonstrated robust growth leading into the latest raise. The company reports that since its 2019 Crowdcube campaign, it has grown its gross revenue by 13 times. More recent filings show a revenue jump of 62 percent in the 2023 fiscal year, reaching about $53.9 million USD. In 2024, its reported gross revenue reached around £72.36 million, with notable product contributions from the Dome and Arc ovens.

On the governance front, Gozney strengthened its executive team concurrent with its capital moves. In June 2025, the company appointed Mario Marte as Chairman of the Board and added Ryan Bateman, formerly VP of Finance and Operations at Amer Sports, as its CFO. The company also brought on Scott Loeppert as VP of Sales and Steve Hewitt, former CEO of Gymshark, as a strategic advisor. These appointments align with the company’s strategic pivot from a niche outdoor cooking brand toward a global consumer lifestyle player.

Gozney’s fundraising also reflects evolving investor participation models. The interplay of private and community capital allows both institutional backers and everyday consumers to share in its growth trajectory. The company requires U.S. investors in the private round to be accredited, with a minimum investment threshold of $20,000.

Looking ahead, Gozney aims to deploy its funding to expand capacity, accelerate innovation, broaden its product catalog into grills, accessories, and consumables, and scale its presence across key international markets. In a competitive and growing outdoor living sector, the company is positioning itself as a design-led, high-performance brand bridging the gap between consumer and professional cooking.
