Noteless Raises €3.5 Million Seed to Expand AI-Powered Clinical Documentation Across Europe

Oslo‑based healthtech startup Noteless has secured €3.5 million in seed funding to accelerate the adoption and expansion of its AI‑powered clinical documentation platform across Europe. The round, announced in November 2025, highlights growing investor confidence in technology designed to reduce administrative burdens for healthcare professionals and improve the efficiency of patient care.

The seed round was led by Redstone, a European venture capital firm focused on early‑stage startups, with continued participation from existing backers Futurum Ventures and Farvatn Venture. These investors bring strategic support and capital to help Noteless scale its technology beyond its early success in the Nordic region.

Founded in October 2023 by William Vossgård, Mikkel Slettebø and Sarankan Sivakanesan, Noteless has rapidly grown into a leading provider of AI clinical documentation tools that automatically generate structured medical notes in real time during doctor‑patient consultations. The platform combines advanced speech recognition and natural language processing to produce accurate clinical documentation without the need for manual typing, allowing clinicians to save significant time each day.

Since launching its first product in June 2024, Noteless has experienced rapid adoption among healthcare professionals. The company reports that more than one in four general practitioners in Norway and one in seven in Denmark now use its platform regularly. Across its markets, the platform processes over 100,000 patient consultations per week, supporting around 3,000 clinicians in Norway, Denmark, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. This growth reflects strong market demand for solutions that streamline time‑consuming documentation workflows.

CEO and co‑founder William Vossgård has highlighted the tangible impact of the technology on clinician workflows, noting that many users report saving up to two hours per day previously spent on paperwork. This time savings allows doctors to focus more on direct patient care or professional development, addressing a key source of burnout and inefficiency within healthcare systems.

Noteless’s business model aims to tackle the persistent challenge of administrative overload in healthcare, which is linked to clinician burnout, reduced job satisfaction, and staffing pressures. By automating the documentation process, Noteless helps clinicians produce high‑quality medical notes quickly and consistently, supporting both clinical accuracy and operational efficiency. As a result, the platform is gaining traction not only among general practitioners but also with specialists, physiotherapists, psychologists and other healthcare professionals who benefit from reduced documentation time.

The newly raised seed funding will be used to expand Noteless’s commercial operations across additional European markets, with a particular focus on the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) where administrative burden remains a pressing concern for healthcare systems. The capital will also support further development of the company’s AI capabilities, including enhancements to multilingual support and integration with regional clinical workflows, making the platform adaptable to diverse healthcare environments.

Investors have emphasised the importance of Noteless’s technology in addressing healthcare inefficiencies. According to backers, the company’s rapid adoption in the Nordic region and the strong demand from clinicians across multiple countries demonstrate the product’s relevance and potential to become a key player in the European healthtech landscape. This funding round positions Noteless to build on its early momentum and broaden its impact on clinical workflows.

Noteless’s goal is not only to alleviate administrative workload but also to enhance clinician wellbeing and patient care quality by freeing up valuable time that can be spent on direct interactions with patients. As healthcare systems across Europe continue to face staffing shortages and increased demand for services, scalable AI solutions like Noteless have emerged as critical tools for supporting frontline professionals.

With its strengthened financial backing and growing footprint in key European markets, Noteless is poised to enter 2026 with ambitious plans for growth, technology innovation, and broader adoption of its clinical documentation platform. The company’s success to date reflects a broader trend in health technology investment, where AI‑driven tools are increasingly seen as essential for streamlining workflows and addressing systemic challenges in modern healthcare.
