Ranketta Raises €1M Pre-Seed Funding to Help Ecommerce Brands Optimize AI Search Visibility
Ranketta, a Czech Republic–based AI visibility platform focused on helping ecommerce and direct-to-consumer brands understand and improve how they appear in AI-generated search results, has raised €1 million in pre-seed funding as it looks to scale its product and expand internationally. The funding comes as AI-powered search tools increasingly influence how consumers discover products and brands, creating demand for new analytics and optimization solutions beyond traditional SEO.
Founded in 2025 by CEO Vojtěch Oravec and headquartered in Brno, Ranketta was built to address a growing blind spot for online brands: visibility inside large language model–driven platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. While conventional analytics tools track performance in search engines and marketplaces, Ranketta focuses on how often brands are mentioned, recommended, or cited in AI-generated responses, and why certain products surface more prominently than others.
The €1 million pre-seed round was led by Lighthouse Ventures, a Prague-based early-stage venture capital firm known for backing technology startups with global ambitions. Lighthouse Ventures has a track record of supporting companies in B2B software, artificial intelligence, and digital platforms, and its leadership of the round reflects confidence in Ranketta’s positioning at the intersection of AI and ecommerce analytics.
Joining Lighthouse Ventures in the round was Gi21 Capital, a private investment firm that supports technology-driven companies across multiple stages. Gi21 Capital’s participation adds strategic depth to the investor group, particularly in areas related to scaling technology platforms and expanding into new international markets.
Ranketta’s platform enables brands to monitor their presence across AI-generated answers by measuring frequency of mentions, relative positioning, and contextual relevance. The system translates these signals into actionable insights, allowing marketing and ecommerce teams to understand how AI models interpret their brand, products, and content. A key feature of the platform is its AI Copilot, which provides tailored recommendations on content strategy, product descriptions, and citation improvements designed to increase the likelihood of appearing in AI-driven responses.
Since launching, Ranketta has reported early traction among European ecommerce brands. Within its first two months of operation, the company onboarded more than 20 brands, signaling early validation of the need for AI search visibility tools. The company has also generated early recurring revenue, indicating that brands are willing to pay for insights into how AI platforms are shaping consumer discovery.
The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate product development and expand Ranketta’s team, particularly across engineering, product, and sales functions. A significant portion of the funding will support international expansion, with plans to strengthen the company’s presence across Europe and begin building traction in the United States. Ranketta also intends to develop deeper integrations with major ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, enabling brands to act directly on AI visibility insights within their existing workflows.
Ranketta is positioning itself within a broader shift in digital marketing as AI-powered interfaces increasingly complement or replace traditional search journeys. As consumers turn to conversational AI tools for product recommendations and purchasing decisions, brands are facing new challenges in understanding how algorithms interpret and present their offerings. Ranketta’s approach aims to turn AI search from an opaque channel into a measurable and optimizable acquisition pathway.
Investors backing the company have pointed to the rapid adoption of AI search tools and the lack of dedicated analytics solutions as a key opportunity. By focusing specifically on AI-generated discovery rather than adapting legacy SEO metrics, Ranketta is targeting a new category of performance measurement that is likely to grow alongside consumer reliance on AI assistants.
With fresh funding and early market traction, Ranketta is working to establish itself as a core infrastructure provider for brands navigating the transition to AI-driven ecommerce discovery. The company’s goal is to help brands not only understand where they stand in AI search today, but also actively shape how they are represented as AI becomes an increasingly influential layer in the global digital economy.
