Revolt.eco Raises €3 Million Pre‑Seed to Digitise and Scale Renewable Energy Installations Across Europe

French cleantech startup Revolt.eco has raised €3 million in a pre‑seed funding round to accelerate development of its AI‑enhanced digital platform for renewable energy installers and support its expansion across Europe. The financing, completed in late 2025, underscores growing investor interest in solutions that help streamline the deployment of solar and other decarbonised energy systems by digitising and automating key sales and project management workflows.

Revolt.eco was founded in 2024 by Guillaume Berson, Fabien Defouilhoux, and Charles Gwinner to tackle inefficiencies in how solar and energy equipment installers manage their business processes, from customer prospecting through project design and installation. The company’s flagship product, Revolt Pro, centralises the entire sales cycle in one SaaS interface, enabling installation professionals to generate project proposals, quotes and technical designs faster and with fewer manual tasks. Users of the platform report significant time savings — up to four times faster project design — and higher conversion rates due to automated proposal generation and intelligent tooling.

The €3 million round was led by Revent Capital, a German investment fund focused on supporting technologies that accelerate the energy transition. Revent has backed a range of climate‑tech and sustainability initiatives across Europe and sees Revolt.eco’s software as a key enabler for scaling renewable installations by empowering installers with better digital tools. Alongside Revent, the round included business angel investments from industry figures such as Cyril Colin, founder of Elum Energy, and Maxime Brousse, founder of Selency — both bringing deep experience in energy and technology sectors to their backing of the startup.

Revolt.eco’s pre‑seed financing reflects both its rapid adoption among installers and the urgent need for digital solutions in the renewable energy space. Since its launch, the company’s platform has been used to manage tens of thousands of installations, with more than 500 companies now relying on Revolt.eco to coordinate and optimise their projects. This early traction has shown that digital transformation — particularly the automation of administrative and design tasks — can significantly reduce friction for installers and enable more efficient deployment of renewable systems.

The capital from this funding round will be used to strengthen Revolt.eco’s technical, product and commercial teams, expand its suite of machine‑learning and AI models, and fuel its geographic expansion beyond France. The company has already begun extending its presence into neighbouring European markets, with Belgium identified as a first step in its broader continental strategy. This investment is expected to support Revolt.eco’s roll‑out of advanced AI features that automate project design recommendations, enhance customer engagement tools and broaden the platform’s applicability to other segments of energy renovation beyond photovoltaics and storage systems.

At the core of Revolt.eco’s value proposition is its ability to centralise and automate the sales and project lifecycle for renewable energy installers. Traditionally, installers have relied on a patchwork of disparate tools and manual processes — from spreadsheets to separate design and quoting software — resulting in inefficiencies that slow down project turnaround and limit growth. By integrating these functions into a single platform, Revolt.eco not only reduces administrative burden but also provides installers with data‑driven insights that can improve customer conversion rates and operational performance.

The company’s founders highlight that this technology is especially important at a time when European energy policy aims to rapidly scale renewable capacity. With targets such as an EU goal of 42.5 % renewable energy by 2030, there is mounting pressure on installers to meet demand for solar, battery storage and connected energy solutions. Revolt.eco’s platform is designed to support this acceleration by enabling installers to work more productively and manage a higher volume of projects with greater accuracy.

Beyond expanding its core platform, Revolt.eco plans to diversify into adjacent verticals of energy renovation — including heat pumps and energy efficiency projects — offering a unified toolset for installers operating across multiple domains of decarbonisation. This move could position the company as a comprehensive software partner for professionals involved in the full spectrum of energy transition services.

With this €3 million seed investment, Revolt.eco is well‑positioned to accelerate its mission of digitalising the renewable energy installation sector, deepen its technological capabilities, and support installers in driving the decarbonisation of buildings and infrastructure throughout Europe.
